This policy covers the EP Tools iPhone app (Executive Protection Tools) and this website, executiveprotectiontools.com. Both are operated by Executive Protection Tools.
In short: what you enter in EP Tools stays on your iPhone. There is no EP Tools account, no EP Tools server holding your data, and no analytics or tracking. We don't sell or share personal data.
What the app stores on your device
EP Tools keeps the information you enter on your iPhone only. That includes movements, saved locations, advance reports and the files you attach, your personnel list, your profile name and message signature, Quick Send messages, notes and settings.
- Your mission data is encrypted on the device. Its key stays in this iPhone's Keychain and is never synced to iCloud Keychain.
- Face ID is handled by iOS. The app only learns whether unlocking succeeded and never receives your face data.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone.
- Deleting the app deletes this data. We can't see it, recover it or restore it.
What we don't do
- No EP Tools account or sign-in is needed to use the app.
- The app doesn't upload your mission data to us. We run no cloud storage for it.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking software is built into the app, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't sell, rent or share personal data.
When information leaves your device
Only when you choose to send it:
- Sharing. When you tap send or share, the app hands the message or file to the app you pick, such as WhatsApp, Signal, Messages or Mail. For Signal it also copies the message to your clipboard. After that, the other app's privacy policy applies.
- Directions. Tapping directions opens Apple Maps with the address you entered.
- Links. Links to this website or the App Store open in your browser or the App Store.
App Store purchases and membership
The free tier includes up to 5 movements, 3 saved locations and 2 advance reports. EP Tools Membership is an optional auto-renewable monthly subscription that removes those limits (product com.legendaryghostx.eptools.membership.monthly). It costs $2.99 per month in the US; the App Store shows the price for your region.
- Payment, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under your Apple ID. We don't receive your name, email address or payment card details.
- The app uses Apple's StoreKit on your iPhone to check whether your membership is active. That status is used only to lift the free limits.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings under your name, then Subscriptions.
- Purchases are subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Crash reports and diagnostics
EP Tools does not include its own crash-reporting or analytics tools. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS (Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us anonymized crash reports and usage statistics under Apple's Privacy Policy. We use them only to fix problems.
This website
executiveprotectiontools.com is a static site with no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider processes standard request data, such as IP address, to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we use what you send only to reply.
Children's privacy
EP Tools is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and privacy requests
Because your data lives on your iPhone, you control it: edit or delete it in the app, or delete the app to remove it all. We hold no personal data about you apart from emails you send us. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@executiveprotectiontools.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use EP Tools after a change means the updated policy applies.
